This is a data log from the ADL2 where we run fuel pressure monitoring (purple trace). The black trace below it is pressure corrected under boost, so it should be horizontal. At higher rpm's the fuel pumps and injectors start to run out of the flow required and the pressure required. Air Fuel ratio is the red trace, with the motor leaning out progressively from this rpm onwards. This motor combination will require both larger injectors, and a third fuel pump. With a stable fuel system the tuning at high rpm can then begin. We would expect more power from 8000 onwards, as a result of correcting this problem.
This is a major advantage of integrating such good data logging. Everything can be checked, and the possiblity of failures during use greatly reduced, as warnings are programmed into the dash and displayed to the driver.
